The Flight Medical Standards Branch is the arm of the Aeromedical Consult Service (ACS) of the USAF School of Aerospace Medicine that specializes in USAF Flying Class I (FC I) medical examinations, Medical Flight Screening (MFS) evaluations, Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) operator medical examinations, and FAA Medical Class 2 and 3 certifications for Active Duty, Reserve, Guard, AFROTC and select civilian undergraduate pilot training (UPT) and UAS pilot training applicants. The branch is located at 2507 Kennedy Circle, Bldg 110, Brooks City-Base, San Antonio, Texas.

If you are AFROTC, ANG, Reserve, or civilian applicant, and have been scheduled for an initial Flying Class I examination.

If you have been selected for an initial flight surgeon IFC II medical examination.

If you have completed a Flying Class I exam at another location, and your certification is pending successful completion of MFS.

If you have been selected for an Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Operator medical examination.
